| When
you use aluminum capacitors remember the
following: |
 |
Polarity |
| |
Aluminum
Electrolytic Capacitors are polarity, do
not apply reverse voltage or AC voltage.
Please use non-polarized capacitors for a
circuit that can possibly see reversed
polarity. |
|
| |
 |
Operating
voltage
 |
| |
Do
not apply excess voltage continuously when
over voltage is applied to the capacitor
Leakage current increase drastically.
Applied working voltage to capacitors
should not exceed the rated working
voltage of capacitor. |
|
| |
 |
Ripple
current
 |
| |
Do
not apply a ripple current exceeding the
rated maximum ripple current.
The capacitor should be applied within
specified allowable ripple current value
in table if
the capacitor needs high ripple current
exceed specified value please consult us
for your
high ripple purpose. |
|
| |
 |
For
charge and discharge circuit |
| |
The
electrolytic capacitor is not suitable for
sudden charge and discharge which occurs
frequently causing damage by Internal
healing. Please consult us your
application if you
have sepcial purpose. |
|
| |
 |
Operating
stored and temperature
 |
| |
The
capacitor should not be used at any
temperature exceeding the rang of
specified in
each products. When the capacitors are
stored for along time, it must not be left
under
high temperature and high humid. Place to
avoid its deteriorations of electrical
characteristice and solderable of lead
wire. |
|
| |
 |
Soldering |
| |
Soldering
irons should be kept away from the vinyl
insulated sleeves of capacitors.
When the capacitor dipped in solder bath,
recom-mendable within 260¢XC and 10
seconds to avoid damage of capacitor. |
|
| |
 |
Terminal
and leading wire
 |
| |
Do
not apply excessive force to capacitor
leads and terminals. The excessive force
may damage to leads and terminals of
capacitor units. |
|
| |
 |
Sleeve
material
 |
| |
The
standard sleeve material is
polyvinyl-chloride if exposed to xylene,
toluene, etc, and
then subjected to high heat, the sleeve
may crack. This sleeve is not insulating
material. |
|
| |
 |
Vent
 |
| |
It
is recommended at least 3mm of space
around the vent. If such space is not
provided, the vent will not operate
completely. |
